Analysts work on a variety of assignments, often simultaneously, ranging from financial advisory, feasibility studies, mergers  &  acquisitions, and project financing/loan syndications. Analysts receive a general introduction to financial analysis, financial modeling, presentations and exposure to a variety of business scenarios and financial products. The Analysts’ responsibilities will vary depending on the project, but typically include:

1. Business Development Support Role

  • Prepare pitch book presentations and transaction executive summary.
  • Perform initial transaction research and analysis.

  • Perform due diligence.

2. Financial Analysis Role

  • Research and analyze transaction data.

  • Compile data to develop financial models (cost/benefit analysis, cash flow projections, debt structure, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, comparable analysis, valuations,etc.).

  • Produce presentation materials (lender presentations, Information Memorandums, etc.).

  • Make recommendations on optimal financial structure based on financial models.

3. Industry Analysis Role

  • Research and analyze industry and economic trends.
  • Compile and produce quarterly reports summarizing findings, current key indicators, and news updates.


  • An undergraduate or graduate degree from a leading university, with a major in finance,    accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.

  • Relevant work experience as an analyst at another investment bank is preferred, but not essential.

  • CFA and Financial Advisory license preferred, but not required.


  • High proficiency in working in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and detail oriented.

  • Excellent problem solving skills, analytic ability, and strong work ethics.

  • Be a team player, must be self-motivated and entrepreneurial.

  • Have very strong quantitative, technical, data management and research skills.
